30th Anniversary
The Old
Mamod Loco Range Based on a Welsh narrow gauge loco, this British designed and manufactured model was first introduced 30 years ago by Mamod, then still family owned, and has stood the test of time for quality, reliability and safety. To mark the occasion, a new book is being written by Alan Dunster with the encouragement of Tag Gorton, Editor of the Garden Rail magazine, on the original Mamod Steam Railway, its successor - the MSS range, and the various modified versions that were created. We are also working on a special limited edition locomotive with a unique livery to mark the 30th anniversary of the release in 1979 of the SL1 loco. This will be limited to only 30 numbered examples being produced. Early interest in securing one of these models should be forwarded to sales@dream-steam.com for further information.
