Summerlands Chuffer
To fit all MSS and older Mamod locos
We are very pleased to offer the new
Summerlands Chuffer. This is a highly developed and precision
engineered chuff pipe that can bring the real sound of a working steam
loco to your MSS or older Mamod loco. It is
machined from solid brass to a design that has been proven, through
extensive testing and customer trials, to give an excellent chuff.
The
chuff pipe consists of a jet within a narrow throat. This has a specially
designed sounding slot, hand cut into the machined body. The body above
the slot is machined out to give the maximum volume for resonance, which,

Large Brass Chimney Cowl
Small Brass Chimney Cowl
Topping off the chimney with this solid brass small cowl really adds a nice
finishing touch to your loco. Just fits tightly on the top of the chimney
with a few light taps with a rubber hammer or piece of wood.
Brass Sand Boxes
Two lovely solid brass sand boxes to go on
the footplate around the smoke box. Each one has a 6BA threaded screw hole
in the base and comes with a 6BA screw.
Brass Water Tank Tops
Brass Side Tank Hand Rails & Stanchions
Add a bit of
extra realism to your loco with these real brass hand rails and
stanchions to run along the top of the side tanks. Each pair comes
with two brass wire rails, six 8BA stanchions and nuts.
Brass Cab Hand Rails & Stanchions
Add
a bit of extra realism to your loco with these real brass hand rails and
stanchions. Ideal for replacing the hand rails on the cab or tender. Each pair comes with two brass
wire rails, four 8BA stanchions and nuts.
Smoke Box Brass Hand Rail & Stanchions
Add a bit of
extra realism to the front of your loco with our real brass hand rail and
stanchions for the smoke box. C
Some
dismantling and drilling of the smoke
box will be required to fit this item, although it may be best to drill hols and fix with Loctite
or other suitable glue.

Cylinder
Covers To
cover the standard pistons and add to the aesthetic charm of your loco.
These metal covers come with double sided sticking pads already attached
to stick the covers onto a clean and dry underside of the smoke box foot
plate. However, if you prefer, you can use the pre-drilled hole to attach
with a screw or bolt.
16mm NG Multi Level Link & Buffer Plate
Convert your MSS or old Mamod loco to be able to link up with a wide range
of standard height 16mm narrow gauge rolling stock with these cast white
metal linkages. These links are made from white metal casting and
may need a little finishing. A small modification
will be required to the standard buffer beams to accommodate the linkage
unit. The standard buffers can be re-used or nuts and bolts are provided
to blank the buffer holes.

Convert your MSS or old Mamod loco to be able to link up with a wide range
of 16mm narrow gauge rolling stock with centre buffers.

Convert your MSS or old Mamod loco to be able to link up with a wide range
