MSS Locomotives
This is the most popular starter live steam loco designed for the beginner on a budget. Originally created and built by Mamod in the 1980s, and now still produced in the UK by MSS since the early 1990's, this is one of the most popular and successful range of live steam garden railways over the last 30 years. Available as a Side Tank or a Saddle Tank the MSS locomotive is complemented by a full range of tenders and rolling stock. The Side Tank locos are also available in sets, complete with rolling stock and track. Self-assembly kits for the keen modeller are also available. Each loco is tested prior to leaving the manufacturers and comes with a full warranty.
